The Alcove Story
Established in June 2025, Alcôve Wine Bar was created with one simple goal; to bring Worcester a relaxed and welcoming approach to exceptional wine, world-class cocktail, and thoughtfully selected charcuterie.
With more than 40 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry, our team brings together a passion for great food and drink with genuine, attentive service. Whether you’re discovering new wine, enjoying a carefully crafted cocktail, or sharing a charcuterie board with friends, we want every visit to feel memorable, without feeling pretentious.

Do I need a reservation, or do you accept walk-ins?
We accept both, here at Alcove Wine bar we accept people walking in around Worcester looking for an excellent selection of wines and charcuterie. But we also accept bookings for Events, occasions and typically for larger groups of people. This can be booked via Getting In Touch
Do you offer wines by the glass, or only by the bottle?
At Alcove Wine Bar we offer a range of White, Red, Rose and sparkling options available in both Bottles and glasses respectively. The limits on sales is dependent on the Bottle itself. For certain wines the sale is limited by bottle, if you after something in particular you can ask one of our experienced team members and we will be more than happy to help.
Is the menu designed to pair with specific wines?
Our collection of charcuterie and antipasti have been curated and selected to be able to be paired perfectly with our collection of World Wines. The rich salt and fat of our meats will compliment the rich and full bodied reds and more.
